(Al-Ghashiya) 88 : 17
أَفَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
Then, have they not looked at the camel—how it is created?
This verse demands reflection on the camel—“the ship of the desert”—to recognize the Supreme Creator behind that creation and to approve Him as the Single Deity Who fashioned it with a body suited to its habitat and environment. When the believer hears or reads such verses, he should respond with the soul, glorifying the Lord: “Glory is the One Who knows all kinds of creations.” See explanation 3: 190–191; 7: 185; and 36: 71–73, 81.
